Cookie Policy

We believe in full transparency. Here's exactly what cookies Formation Bible Study uses, why we use them, and how you're always in control.

Effective: April 16, 2026  ·  Last Updated: April 16, 2026

Section 01

What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web-based app. They help services remember information about you — such as your login status, preferences, or which pages you've visited — so your experience is smoother and more personalized on each return visit.

Cookies cannot run programs or deliver viruses. They simply store small pieces of data that help services work better for you. When we say "cookies" in this policy, we also include similar technologies like local storage, session storage, and tracking pixels.

Cookies are either first-party (set directly by Formation Bible Study) or third-party (set by external services we use). They may be session cookies that expire when you close your browser, or persistent cookies that stay on your device for a set period.

Section 02

Types of Cookies We Use

Formation Bible Study uses four categories. The first is required for the app to work; the other three are optional and can be managed through your browser.

Specific Cookies We Set

Section 04

Third-Party Cookies

Some cookies are set by third-party services we rely on. We don't control how these parties use collected data. Please review their own privacy policies:

Section 05

Managing Your Cookies

You are in control. You can manage, restrict, or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. Disabling essential cookies will prevent Formation Bible Study from working properly — but all other categories can be turned off without breaking core features.

To opt out of Google Analytics specifically, use the Google Analytics Opt-Out Add-On. For advertising cookies broadly, visit optout.aboutads.info.

Section 06

Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals indicating a preference not to be tracked. Because there is currently no industry-standard interpretation of these signals, Formation Bible Study does not alter its data practices in response to them. We will update this section if a recognized standard is established.

Section 07

Children's Privacy

Formation Bible Study is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly use cookies to collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, please contact us at [email protected] and we will promptly delete the information.

Section 08

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy as our technology, legal obligations, or practices change. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we may also notify you through the app or by email.

Continued use of Formation Bible Study after any updates constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy.

Section 09

Questions or Concerns?

We keep this policy clear because we want you to feel confident using Formation Bible Study. If anything here is unclear, please reach out.
